Our Roots

Our story begins long before our first bag of Seedsoning -it starts with two very different childhoods that came together in the most natural way.

Jessica's story is rooted in flavor.

From an early age, the kitchen was the heart of our home, and seasoning was simply a way of life. My mom was known for her homemade seasoning blends, and family, friends, and neighbors were always asking what made her food taste so good. She taught me that food has the power to bring people together and that the right blend of real ingredients, herbs and spices can turn even the simplest meal into something memorable.

Nicole's story is rooted in the land.

Growing up in Montana, I learned that the best nutrition begins with the land. My parents were both raised on generational family farms, where crops like flax and wheat, and a deep respect for hard work and wholesome food, were part of everyday life. Those roots instilled in me a lifelong appreciation for real, nourishing ingredients and the people who grow them. Today, as Montana continues to lead the way in producing hemp and flax, it's incredibly meaningful to build 3 Seeds around these remarkable crops while supporting the farming communities that inspired me from the very beginning.

Our Story:

We were work colleagues about 15 years ago and always kept in touch.  We both had families and when we connected we would always find ourselves talking about health, wellness, food and convenience.  It didn't take long to realize our backgrounds fit together perfectly to create something we both wanted but just wasn't out there. Something that added flavor and added nutrition to the foods we were already eating and making for our families.

Jessica brought the joy of flavor.

Nicole brought the nutrition of the land.

Our goal was never to create another health food. It was to create something people would actually look forward to using every single day.
